Board Race- Variation

You can use this game to review vocabulary. Put two sets of pictures of vocabulary words on the board.** Divide the class into two different teams with the same number of students. Tell one student from each team a vocabulary word. Those students then whisper the vocabulary word to their teammates. The last person to hear the word runs to the board and hits the vocabulary and says the word aloud. The team who touches and says the word first wins a point.

**A cool trick if you have a whiteboard: Rub a piece of paper on the whiteboard and the paper will stay on the board due to static electricity.
