Bate, bate chocolate

Dora the Explorer sang the Mexican folk song "Chocolate" while singing to the chocolate tree. Many of my students have seen that epispode, and so we sang it in class when learning food vocabulary (link to video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFRXerHp4EE&feature=&p=A50C5B7BDA9D1FD0&index=0&playnext=1) I also told them how to make Mexican hot chocolate (link to recipe:http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alexandra-guarnaschelli/mexican-hot-chocolate-recipe/index.html) with a molinillo.

The song below is sung by Jose Luis Orozco.
Uno, dos, tres, CHO
Uno, dos, tres, CO
Uno, dos, tres, LA
Uno, dos, tres, TE
Chocolate, chocolate, bate, bate, chocolate.

Uno, dos, tres, CHO
Uno, dos, tres, CO
Uno, dos, tres, LA
Uno, dos, tres, TE
Chocolate, chocolate, bate, bate, chocolate.
Chocolate, chocolate, bate, bate, el chocolate.
