Voice Thread

Voicethread is a program that allows you to comment on pictures or videos. If you have a tablet you are also able to write on the picture or video. Others can also comment on your picture, video or your comments. They are able to comment by typing or talking.

Here is a voicethread that I created in Spanish. http://voicethread.com/share/575939/ Just click the link, and it should come up. It's entitled "Fotos y preguntas." I just pulled some photos that I had in my docs, and I gave a very short description. Then I asked a question that I would want students to respond to. For example, in the first picture I said that this is a beach in Costa Rica, and then I asked, "What is the weather like?" Students (or you--using your best Spanish!) can respond to the questions and leave their comments on the thread. From my understanding, I can monitor and choose what to show and what not to show. I'm not sure how that works exactly, but I'm still playing with it. So cool! Here is another link to one that I created about my family. In this one, you will notice that I wrote on the images to indicate what family member I was talking about. http://voicethread.com/share/576073/

As I have been working with VoiceThread, I have learned that the free account only allows you to have 3 "albums." In order to get more you have to pay a minimal fee. Here is the link with more information.
